We are excited to welcome Shannon 'Shan' Fannin to The Women’s Gallery as one of our newest featured artists. Known internationally for her hyperrealistic vehicle portraits, Shan’s work brings engines to life with emotion, depth, and breathtaking detail.
Her large-scale paintings go beyond technical precision. They tell stories. Whether she’s capturing the sleek lines of a classic Ferrari or the rugged charm of a vintage motorcycle, each piece evokes nostalgia, admiration, and a sense of awe. Using acrylics, airbrush, brushes, and even her hands, Shan’s technique blends realism with expressive texture, creating powerful pieces that resonate with collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Shan’s journey to becoming a full-time artist is as inspiring as her work. After spending decades in education and corporate leadership, she reignited her passion for painting in her late 40s. Since then, her art has been exhibited across the United States, featured in Times Square, included in international publications, and selected for the Lunar Codex Moon Project—sending her artwork into space.
Her paintings are held in private collections across North America, Europe, and Asia. Based right here in Austin, she continues to make waves both locally and globally with her one-of-a-kind pieces.
Her work will be featured at our upcoming Fall Show on Saturday, September 13th. Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the art, the energy, and the incredible women behind the work.
We are proud to showcase Shan’s powerful pieces and officially welcome her to The Women’s Gallery family!
