Valerie Ho is a Texas-based marquetry artist who transforms the timeless craft of wood inlay into contemporary fine art. With a background in woodworking and a lifelong love of painting and pottery, she discovered marquetry and was immediately drawn to its balance of precision and creativity.

Her work reflects her life in Texas, often highlighting the beauty of nature, wildlife, and Southern landscapes. By layering fine wood veneers in rich natural tones, Valerie creates pieces that invite viewers to see the warmth and diversity of wood as more than a material — as a storyteller.
